Parliament, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, etc., are the words which everyone is familiar with, but what they actually are and what are the functions they perform are not something a student is familiar with.
The students learn about parliament and its functions in their classes, without actually knowing what happens in the lower house of the parliament.
To make the students aware about the Lok Sabha and what the ministers actually do there, the main participants of the Lok Sabha such as the speaker and various ministers sitting in the assembly, and the functions carried out such as the Special Mentions, Calling Attention and Passing of a Bill, the students of grade 9 along with grade 7 conducted Youth Parliament at school.
The students prepared script, including all the above sections, and practiced diligently for more than 10 days and reproduced the parliament at school in front of the students, complete with the attire and the setting, and it was informative and entertaining.
