The advent of modern technology is rapidly transforming the world, so also the education system has under gone a sea change. We have to adopt the modern teaching techniques and communicating skills to make the present day children adapt to the modern times. The present day children are quite different, they are born with high IQ, their absorption capacity is amazing. If we want different outcome to match the present day requirement, we need to do things differently and we need to do different things . Keeping all these things in mind at Nurture International School, Chikmaglur under the guidance of Global Classroom Private Limited, a big team monitors the innovations in the field of education at the international level and they immediately bring them with suitable changes to match the Indian conditions. That is how they have evolved the concept ‘ Compete with yourself.’ This is a powerful maxim as it brings out the best in every child.

This maxim of ‘Compete with yourself ‘ is capable of transforming a child into a global responsible citizen, capable of facing the challenges of the present day world with an ability to distinguish the right from the wrong, and making him a good leader capable of transforming this world from the present day misery.

Welcome to Nurture International School. It is my pleasure to introduce you to NIS through our school website. The purpose of this site is to give you a snap shot of the many exciting learning experiences happening daily at our school. The website is evolving and will be updated regularly.

They say ‘catch them young’ and believing in this ideology, our Nurture International School aims to empower our students to grow as holistic individuals & make them future ready with a global perspective of Vasudhaiva kutumbakkam - the world as one family.

We all will agree that the purpose of Education is to develop a positive attitude, acquire knowledge & skills and lead a happy life. A review of 225 studies in the ‘Psychological Bulletin’ says “Happiness does not follow success, in fact it is just the opposite”- Happiness leads to success.

Progressive Schools should embrace Social Emotional Learning for teachers and students. The school is no longer about learning 3Rs but a place to support a student’s holistic growth of body, mind and heart. I can clearly say with conviction that our school’s ideology is based on four pillars- Universal values, Global Understanding, Excellence in all things, service to the World etc.

In our school, the teaching is not about knowledge transfer, but fostering excellence. We believe in opening the minds of the pupils. We guide them to learn by doing, stressing on the all-round development of a child’s personality.
